Unlike any other war storybooks, contains social history with a number short stories of each soldier who volunteered to participate the war. The storyline is narrative and the tone of the book is mainly reflective that gives questions to ourselves such as "Why we volunteer?", "Why Korea?". The pace of this book is fast-paced that the story usually jumps other timelines or goes back to the past.
